These Terms & Conditions govern every purchase made on this website. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and the End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs the use of the software itself.

1. Who we are

The website and the Comet Sound brand are operated by DZ Audio S.R.L.S., Via alle Fabbriche 183, 10072 Caselle Torinese (TO), Italy — VAT / tax code 13486850012. You can reach us at info@cometsound.com.

2. What we sell

We sell licenses for digital audio software (plugins), individually or as bundles, and subscription plans that give access to our plugins while the subscription is active. No physical goods are shipped.

Subscription plans start with a free 7-day trial: you add a payment method at checkout, pay nothing today, and the plan price is charged only when the trial ends. Single plugins and the bundle are one-time purchases, delivered immediately after payment.

Before buying, check the system requirements listed on each product page. The use of the software is governed by the EULA, which you accept upon installation or first use.

3. Account

An account is required to purchase: your downloads, licenses and order history are tied to it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for the activity carried out through your account.

4. Orders and digital delivery

An order is placed when you complete the checkout and is accepted when we confirm it by email. Delivery is digital and immediate. For one-time purchases, your license key is delivered by email and in your account as soon as payment is confirmed, together with the receipt. For subscription plans, downloads become available as soon as the trial starts, and your license key is delivered at the end of the trial together with the first payment receipt — or immediately, if you have already used the trial for that plan.

If a product is unavailable or an order cannot be accepted, we will inform you and refund any amount already paid.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable. The total price is always visible before you confirm the order. Obvious pricing errors do not bind us; if one affects your order we will contact you before proceeding.

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your card details. We may change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders already placed.

When you start a subscription trial, nothing is charged at checkout: the plan price is charged automatically at the end of the 7-day trial, on the date stated at checkout, unless you cancel before then from your account. We send you a reminder email before the charge is made.

6. Subscriptions

• Subscription plans (Base and Pro, billed monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price stated at purchase.
• You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: no further charges are made, and access to the subscription plugins ends when the paid period expires.
• If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, the subscription is suspended and access to the plugins ends.
• We will notify you in advance of any price change to your subscription; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

7. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content, however, the law allows this right to be excluded when delivery starts immediately with your express consent.

At checkout you are asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has started. Because our products are delivered instantly after payment, purchases on this website are therefore final once the download or license has been made available, as provided by Article 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

Subscription plans include a free 7-day trial: cancelling during the trial is free and prevents any charge, and we encourage you to use it to evaluate every plugin on your system — including before buying a permanent license.

For subscription plans, the same consent covers the immediate access to downloadable content. If you subscribed but have not downloaded or activated any plugin, you may contact us within 14 days of the first payment and we will refund it.

This does not affect your statutory rights in case of defective or non-conforming digital content: if a plugin does not work as described, contact us at info@cometsound.com — we will fix the issue, replace the product or, where the law provides, refund you. We may also grant refunds in other situations on a case-by-case basis, as a courtesy.

8. Intellectual property

All software, trademarks, product names, graphics and content on this website belong to DZ Audio S.R.L.S. or its licensors. Buying a license grants you the rights described in the EULA and transfers no ownership of the software or of any intellectual property.

9. Warranties and liability

Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content. Beyond those rights, the software is provided as described on the product pages, and our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of your place of residence or domicile. For any other dispute, the competent court is the Court of Turin, Italy.
